Today we almost made it to Soldier Summit on US 6. After a day off yesterday, we resumed our Walk through the mountains just East of the Spanish Fork area. US 6 is cut mainly through mountain passes and of the 30 miles we have done since getting back on the highway, about 28 of them have been on an uphill grade. Now the grade is gradual (until you drive it), but it is still uphill. After doing it all day, you feel quite ready to call it a day.
