We are now just a day away from Spanish Fork, UT. This is where we will hook up with Chris and spend a couple of days. We have friends working in Salt Lake and hope to see them while here also. On Thursday, I will be speaking at a Xocai meeting in Provo and get to meet some of the folks I’ve become associated with. It will be nice to have a short break before heading on East and toward the dreaded Rocky Mountains. 😱
Today was a pretty decent day, although it sprinkled a time or two. No downpours and no snow, so that’s a plus. Met Kenny B. biking from Providence, RI to Anchorage, AK. He left on Christmas day last year and will winter in Anchorage. Next summer he will bike back to Providence. He said it will be 30,000 miles total. These guys I meet and their bicycles – they really put me to shame.
I found out today that we have an article in the June (2008) issue of Highways Magazine, a magazine for the RV industry and RV’ers from all over. We haven’t seen the article yet, but you RV’ers out there, let us know what you think. Many thanks to Good Sam and Highways Magazine for the article.
Also, many thanks to David B for your donation to Gateway For Cancer Research. It is much appreciated.
Valda & I are currently sitting in a church parking lot on a hill in Santaquin, UT. Off to the north I can see the lights of Provo. It is sure nice for a change to be in an area where people out number the tumbleweeds. 😋
